Dr. Andrea Levinson began studying natural health options after 4 years on total disability from an auto accident. As a petroleum geologist, relying on the "laws of nature" to find hydrocarbons, she realized she must use the natural laws of the body to restore her health. This concept is mostly missing in conventional medicine.
In 1995, Dr. Levinson stumbled on the early use of vocal profiling, precision sound therapy, quantum biofeedback and cellular nutrition to map the root causes of stress in the body. Continuing today, Dr. Levinson helps conduct research in these fields with remarkable results. She developed the companion Mind/Body/Spirit Questionnaire (LINK COMING SOON) to use with the other tools to confirm the accuracy of the technology. Not surprising to Dr. Levinson, the majority of her patients reported improved health almost immediately when the root cause of health issues were removed.
Dr. Levinson hoped the amazing success of her and her fellow researchers would lead to a technology doctors around the world would use routinely for every patient. That is not even a close reality due to lack of funding and huge threat to more expensive, less effective testing methods. She hopes this film will make others aware there is help and hope if you search beyond the obvious and look outside the box.
In 2005, drawing from actual events and conversations with her family and friends, Dr. Levinson created what is now "Death, Taxes and...Chocolate!”. She originally wrote it as a two-act play aboard her healing office yacht during the 10 weeks her natural health practice was forced to shut down for teaching nutrition to her patients. "Chemotherapy killed my mother, and over 300,000 people a year die from their medical treatment, but I can't teach my patients preventative/restorative health care!" Levinson knew she needed a positive way to vent her anger and frustration about the state of conventional healthcare and frequent attempts by the medical establishment to hamper less expensive, safer, more natural health care options in this country. She is especially concerned about the way seniors are being treated and the care her parents chose during their long term illnesses.
A mentor in the entertainment industry raved about Levinson's play and he thought it could become a "classic" film. She hired accomplished Producer/Director Bud Dowdey who helped her fine tune the screenplay and he created a notable award winning independent film using about 50% of the original story. Levinson, suffering the common "Writers Remorse", made the unabridged audio version of the screenplay. Levinson and Dowdey hope the story generates change and awareness of the dilemma families and seniors are facing as they age, and also puts an end to the stronghold the AMA and FDA have against natural healthcare.
Dr. Levinson will be co-writing scenes for the sequel to "Death, Taxes and...Chocolate!” with the deceased Glenn Kolleda (Yes, a real Ghost Writer!) through his intuitive wife and daughter. Once you watch the film, you will undertand his part in helping! Glenn's family gave Dr. Levinson stewardship of Glenn's manual that was in his computer when he died in 2008 documenting his near-death experience in 1995 with art and music and a remarkable detail of his experiences on the Other Side.
